Winter Weather and Road Ready Inspection

Come in for our Winter Weather or Road Redy Inspection, where one of our certified technicians will inspect your vehicle to make sure it is road ready for the winter weather or any long driving trips you are taking.

Snow, sleet, and freezing temps are no match for a well-prepared car. We’ll make sure your tires, brakes, battery, coolant, wipers, and more are in tip-top shape before the icy roads and chilly mornings hit.

• Road Test to check for any engine performance issues and unusual noises, smells, or movements of the car.

• Check the parking brake for proper operation.

• Note any dashboard lights on the car and help determine the next steps.

• Inspect all Mirrors, windshields, windows, and doors - note any damage or dysfunction.

• Inspect and test wipers and wiper system for proper operation. Fill washer fluid tank.

• Check all lights - headlights, brake lights, taillights, turn signals markers, fog lights, and other exterior lights for operation.

• Check for condition, level, and leaks of all fluids on the car (Oil, Brake, Power Steering, Coolant, Window Washer Fluid, Transmission if applicable).

• Inspect battery cables and test the Battery and for battery life.

• Test Starter and Alternator for proper operation and life.

• Inspect Engine Air Filter that filters air going inside the engine.

• Inspect Cabin Air Filter that filters air going inside the car for heat.

• Inspect belts and hoses for cracks or wear.

• Inspect all tires and wheels for uneven and/or low tread wear, potential tire problems, and alignment issues.

• Remove tires to inspect Brake Wear Components like brake pads and rotors and note condition. Also, we inspect Brake Lines and Calipers/Wheel cylinders for condition and proper operation.

• Check under the vehicle for any fluid leaks, steering and suspension parts failure, excessive rust, leaking exhaust, or any other issues that may need attention.

• Make notes of any maintenance or repairs recommended in the next 1500 miles.
