Free Alignment with Strut/Shock Repair

We know the Pennsylvania potholes have taken a toll on your suspension, especially your struts and shock absorbers that help keep your ride safe and smooth. Starting Friday March 7th we are offering a FREE ALIGNMENT when you replace both your front and rear struts/shocks.

What is the purpose of Struts and Shock Absorbers?
Struts and shock absorbers (you guessed it) absorb shock and vibrations during your drive. If you didn't have struts the car would bounce all over the place anytime you hit a pothole or rock or some type of obstruction in the road. They are important for the safety of the car but also for the drivability and comfortability of your ride.

Why do struts/shocks go bad?
Wear over time from use
Overloading the vehicle with weight
Driving on rough roads with potholes, speed bumps, and other obstructions in the road
Sudden impacts from hitting curbs or large potholes.

What happens when struts/shocks go bad?
Your car may bounce excessively
Your car may roll or sway when turning
Your car may feel unstable when hit by cross wind
Your car may nose dive when braking
Your car may rear squat when accelerating
Your steering wheel may vibrate
You may hear unusual noises
You may see fluid leaking from the shocks or struts
You will get uneven wear on your tires leading to premature failures of your tires.

When should you replace struts/shocks?
If you have any of the problems above with your vehicle, you should replace your struts/shocks.
Most industry experts recommend replacing struts/shocks after 50,000 miles.

Uncertain if you need struts/shocks or other suspension work? Come in for a Road Ready Inspection and will be able to evaluate your suspension system for any potential problems in the next 3 months to 6 months!
